Hey Mom!
Whats up! So first of all, thank you for the razors and your talk, I really loved it. And the Holland talks, those were phenomenal, thank you so much!! I love hearing your mission experiences, I really do want to hear more!
This week was actually a good one!! We worked really hard and were able to get a couple people out to church. Kyra was one of our investigators there. She is 12 years old, and she seems to be really enjoying it. Her Mother isn't interested in "organized religion" but she wants Kyra to have the opportunity to make her own choice. So we are working with her and slowly with her Mother as well (; Efrin was our other investigator at church. He is about 40 years old, and he speaks mostly spanish, so I think the service was a bit hard for him to understand, but he said he enjoyed it! THe problem with him is he is SUPER busy,so its hard to teach him as much as we would like to. We are also working with a 20 year old girl named Alena. She is living with her boyfriend, Matthew, who actually is a member...he is obviously inactive, but he really has a strong testimony and helps Alena out a lot with Gospel concepts. we are planning to go over the Law of Chastity this week. Sweet. Looking forward to it. Haha but all in all, it really was a great week. We met a lot of new people, and I really learned that a mission is what you make of it. If you tell yourself at the beginning of the day that its going to be a bad day, then it probably will. Attitude determines altitude, that is something that I am trying to continue to work on.
